Happy Cat Cafe, nestled in the heart of Montreal, offers a delightful blend of feline charm and cozy ambiance that appeals to cat enthusiasts and coffee aficionados alike. Customer reviews highlight the cafe's inviting atmosphere, where the decor is both beautiful and meticulously maintained. Diana Ju praises its "super cozy" vibe and the delicious pistachio coffee, which has become a bestseller. The cafe also features a variety of snacks and a charming gift shop filled with cat-themed items, adding to the overall experience.
However, several patrons, including Eric Jacobson and Anam Chanda, note that while the cafe is family-friendly, it's essential for visitors to respect the cats' space. The tranquil environment is crucial for the well-being of these independent creatures, many of whom prefer to recline peacefully rather than interact. Despite occasional slow service during busy times, the quality of food and drinks, alongside the cuteness of the resident cats, makes the wait worthwhile.
Overall, Happy Cat Cafe is a purr-fect destination for those seeking a serene getaway amidst playful feline companions. With its relaxing ambiance and delectable offerings, it promises a memorable experience for all who enter.

The Happy Cat Cafe is such a lovely spot—super cozy and aesthetically pleasing, with a cute and peaceful atmosphere. They have a great variety of drinks and snacks, and I got to try their bestseller, the pistachio coffee (I think that’s the name), and it was genuinely delicious. The decor is beautiful, everything looks really clean, and it’s clear that the cats are well taken care of and happy. They have plenty of places to rest and play, and there’s even a little gift shop with cat-themed items, which was a fun touch! One thing I’d suggest is that staff could gently remind parents to help their kids respect the cats’ space. I noticed a few moments where kids were chasing the cats around, and while it’s great that families can enjoy the space, it would be even better if the environment stayed calm and safe for the animals. Overall, it’s a great cafe experience for both cat lovers and coffee lovers alike. For usage of these photos/videos or content collaborations, contact @mindsetmused.

We're talking about cats here. Cats are independent creatures, and don't like loud noises. They often don't want to be touched, so no, this isn't the best place for a small child to run around trying to pet the cats. There were cats sleeping, one that was very active and interacting with us, and the rest were somewhere in the middle. One slept on the lap of a customer for at least 30 minutes. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The food was good, and since it includes the cost of maintaining the cats it is reasonable.

Nice place for a meet-up and chill. There are around 6 cats (I'm sure there are more). It is essential to know cats are cats (at least knowing their behaviour is good as to why they are not mostly around for petting). I enjoyed being there with a good friend and making jokes for cats. Also, there is a famous German Painter (cat) at this place, if you know what I mean . (I added one photo of the cat)

Amazing experience. People are writing bad reviews and ignoring the fact that unlike other cafes they are not charging entry fee to see cats and be with them.I am from Toronto and came here to visit the cute cafe as i love cats and i had an amazing experience. If you are visiting such cafe’s don’t expect you are going to get Tim Horton experience. Those are places that serve you pre made drinks and just warm up stuff. This is a local and busy cafe so service is expected to be slow.Obviously there is wait time and servers are trying their absolutely best. I went there and we had to wait 5-10 minutes to be seated as it was full and that’s fine we understand. We got seated on sofa and there was a cute cat ( Laila) sleeping over there we petted her and she was just sleeping that was just so adorable. We also ordered latte and high five which was really good. Would definitely come back to this place when i visit Montreal next time. The service is slow so i would recommend people to be patient as the cafe was full and obviously the people who order first are supposed to be served first. I really had good time here and i saw four cats .

Great Cat Cafe! The cats were so friendly and the deserts were delicious. No reservations needed, just follow the rules at the doors. We were there on a rainy day and we didn't have to wait outside at all.

Easiest 5 star review I've ever given, vibe is great, THERE'S CATS. I don't really need to say more. Cheddar grilled cheese was great with chai latte.

The food is good, but a little pricey for what it is, however this can be explained by the fact that there is no entrance fee and they need to take care of the cats. The coffees have cute designs on them and the cats are quite friendly. The cats can climb all over the place and enjoy it when you play with them. Good spot for cat lovers.

The cats were adorable and interacted with people alot , food was amazing also! Definetly worth the price. Note : Please do not bring your kids if they can't behave themselves , a mom had brought her 2 hellspawns and they were scaring the cats by running around the cafe and screeching
